Discover Young Lincoln
After studying and writing about Abraham Lincoln for years, including journal articles in historical magazines like Gateway Heritage, a series of op-ed pieces in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch and teaching a course on Lincoln at Washington University, Jan Jacobi has published a book. Hear about his eight-year labor of love to create a first-person, fictional account of the president’s early life that hews close to historical record. Learn about his process, about how to make history relatable to young people and maybe some new facts about Lincoln, too!
