As a singer, song-writer, musician, aspiring fashion designer, and much more, Katarra shows you how music can help us escape the realities of this world from time to time. From composing to arranging, to cascading the keys of a piano, Katarra creates a world for escapists and romantics.
Her music includes the ups and downs of love, passion, living, and a need to bring change in the world. She takes Jazz, Soul, and R&B, with a big Hip-Hop influence, as her own. With the scats of Ella Fitzgerald, and the sultriness of Sarah Vaughan, Katarra merges classic jazz with the soul of Lauryn Hill and the keys of Stevie Wonder…all within her own universe of black girl magic.
